Well, I wasn't as lucky as Sergio in his lightning shots. However Space Coast has been experiencing some really neat cloud to cloud lightning. So one night, while photographing a rock band at Port Canaveral, I couldn't resist snapping some of the outdoor elements.

Awesome shots... how exactly were you able to capture the lightning? I'm guessing you had to do a "burst mode" when you "felt" like the lightning was about to strike?
Those turned out good
Actually it is pretty simple in terms of technique:
1.) Lowest ISO setting (100 in my case)
2.) At night, set fstop value to low
3.) Widest camera angle possible
4.) Long shutter speed (in my case, 15 seconds)
5.) Let mother nature draw for you ;)
Most of getting really good lightning pics is luck. Seriously.
